where is red rock casino on the strip
Planning spending morning till around 5pm at Red Rock casino. We had a rental last time and just drove their 20 minutes , but this we might not get a rental. Without a car , and not being a guest at the hotel--Uber or Lyft are probably your only relatively inexpensive options. I stay at Red Rock whenever I go to Vegas and in all the times that I have used the free shuttle I have never had to produce a room key for the return Journey. For the trip to the strip you need to get a ticket in advance from the bell desk. Yes we have a myvegas reward for 2 entry too the pool and swag bag bag with towels and goodies!!! Yes was told you can grab the shuttle and they dont want to see anything , but does not leave strip till We went last week and used the normal bus , we got the deuce to the world's largest gift shop near the stratosphere and then got the Sahara express to red rock casino took about 45 minutes total. I had no idea RR had that offer on MyVegas. It sounds like a win-win. RR has a nice pool. Enjoy the buffet and pool. Have a great time. The buffet is not bad either. Expect a long line for the buffet. It is popular. Skip to main content. Sign in to get trip updates and message other travelers. Browse all , Las Vegas topics ». Start the day with a round of golf, and then enjoy dining, swimming, and gaming, and ending the day at the spa sounds like a perfect vacation. Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose. Please check the individual room capacity for more details. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel, situated within a bustling "Vegas"casino, but not smack in the middle of the noise and excitement. The rooms are located in a separate, quiet area, so one can get a break from the action for a wonderful night's relaxation and sleep. The beds are heavenly; the decorating exquisite We ate in four of the restaurants. The food was very good. They also have a nice outside bar, which was fun. The Italian place had excellent food, but the wine list was way too fussy, with virtually nothing for a middle-of-the road diner, all the wines were quite high priced. We ended up drinking cocktails with our meal instead. It was sort of Appleby's does BBQ But the true reason we booked here was the location. The Red Rock Conservation Area is very close, and the natural beauty there is stellar. We will definitely return to this resort the next time we come to the Las Vegas Area. I have visited Red Rock since opening never stayed at the Hotel. This time my wife and I were excited about staying at the Hotel. We noted the cleanliness of the room, hallways and all. The only disappointing issues I have with this and other resorts are the resort fees. I simply have no stomach for resort fees and believe that should the corporations wish to charge resort fees on the strip then go ahead. Add the now parking fees on the strip my wife and I will not be going anywhere near there! I have visited Vegas since and a lot has changed. Resort fees is one change. Hotel and Resort ownership is another. Some folks have no choice but to pay and others really don't realize what Vegas was truly like back in the day In closing, I would really be impressed that Stations considers what they are doing when charging additional fees of any kind. Loved it!!! Walking distance to shopping center, great restaurants, very clean rooms, casino, bathrooms, and loved that it was away from the Strip. Felt very safe and Red Rock Canyon was very close and beautiful hiking trails. Definitely plan to stay at Red Rock Hotel and Casino on our next visit to Las Vegas and recommend it for couples and families. Close to Red Rocks Canyon, lots of food and shopping in the casino, in the strip mall north, and in the Summerlin center bordering on the south. Starbucks right downstairs of hotel elevator. Staff were attentive, However beware communication between front desk and housekeeping isn't perfect. Messages to front desk isn't always followed as much as the electronic DoNotDisturb button just inside the room itself. After one week on Strip's madness, we tried to find a place to relax and far away from city center. That was we found with Red Rock. Usually, we try to prevent to go to family hotels but I have to confess than this hotel make us lie. Wonderful rooms and lobby, everything you need without go out of hotel casino, theater, bowling and buffet!!! Next time in Vegas, it will be Red Rock during one week and Strip during 3 days!!! If you want to spend quality time in the great outdoors 5 minutes from Red Rock Canyon , then this is the place! With all its amenities, service, and great dining, the Red Rock Resort is also a very suitable hotel to take your kids to. Prices for dining out are almost half of what they are on the Strip! We especially enjoyed "the Yard House" for its excellent appetizers and entrees and choice of brews on tap! I've stayed at the Red Rock twice now and have been very happy with my stays. The staff is very courteous and gracious and the rooms are spacious and clean. The room had a 42" tv and a little 12" tv over the bath. Telephones are provided at the desk, at the nightstand, and in the water closet. It included the connection for internet and was very simple to get going online. The casino was large. There is a very wide selection of restaurants to eat at with a economical area food court and more upscale restaurants. There is a large bowling alley although it was closed for a private party when we walked by it and a multiplex theatre. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who likes to travel with their pets. This place it lovely. We have stayed here times now, and the rooms are clean, very chic, with great views. The hotel is situated close to the Red Rocks Rec area, which is why we have stayed there before. There is great rock climbing at Red Rocks, and bouldering, as well as explorative hiking. Its a fun place to be near by. This is quite far from the strip, so you either need a rental car, or catch the shuttle to the strip if you want to go. The resort restaurants are nice, and the spa is also lovely. Last time we were there, they were ripping up the carpets in the casino though. But otherwise, the places is a nice place to stay despite the gaming. Red Rock is an excellent place to go for relaxation. The atmosphere is casual and the food and activities are numerous. It is a good change of pace from the intensity of the Las Vegas strip. There are enough amenities to keep you busy or relaxed; whatever you heart desires. The fitness center is also very clean and offeres a reasonable amount of equipment. If you do not mind being outside the strip and see more than just Las Vegas this is the perfect hotel. Great rooms, amenities, dining and view of the Red Rock. My wife enjoyed herself. We were in Summerlin for a house hunting trip. Hotel is walking distance to downtown Summerlin and restaurants. Rooms are very nice with clean big bathrooms. The views are great by the mountains. Much quieter and good for families. Swimming pool is cool too. We stayed at Red Rock during the New Year for 6 days, while it is not on the strip it is still close enough to enjoy it all and still have a retreat away from the bright lights and night life! We would definitely stay here again, very fun and relaxing vacation! The Wright Way to Travel. The Hotel was lovely by appearance and is good if you want to be far away from the strip in a resort style hotel, but a few issues made our stay quite unpleasent. The receptions were very rude to us when checking in, they complained about a dance competition we were involved in that was being held there, syaing they wouldn't be behind if it wasn't for our stupid dance event. The rooms are very nice BUT the fridge that comes with the room is locked and does not open unless you purchase something from the mini bar which you must notify someone before hand. Because of this is was not possible to have cool refreshments available in your room. Also water was not bought in daily, you needed to go up to reception which is unappropriate for the weather conditions in Las Vegas. Room service was very good, although french fries tasted as though they had been sitting there for a while. I wouldn't reccommend people between staying there, as there isn't much to do, but it would be nice for a family. It was a great venue for the dance competition, but the experience would have been so much better is the staff were more supportive. We stayed here only one night on our road trip. We chose this hotel, because of our 6 year old daughter who traveled with us. We knew that hotel has kids play room, where we could leave her while we played in casino. This was top entertainment for her. Talking about hotel- it's luxurious, rooms are big, casino floor and choice of games-massive, pool area very nice. So yes-well worth visiting. I wish we had more time to stay longer. We chose this resort, as this was where my nephews Bar Mitzvah party was. The hotel staff is more than accommodating. The hotel grounds are pretty and the fires at night are beautiful. The rental of a room refrigerator was expensive, but since it was for medication it was free. The standard room was comfortable. I was a bit disappointed in housekeeping, as the robe in the closet had perfume in the pocket - I called to see if they supplied it although I knew the answer and was told it must have not looked used - it caused me to ask - If the bed linens do not appear soiled do you change them? I am disappointed in the resort fee on top of the rate and tax for the room. It should be included in their rate - I know of no other hotel in Vegas that does this. They ran out of bath salts. I enjoyed the solitude of looking at the Canyon. We did not visit the pool area but it looked nice and inviting. There are many choices for dining at the resort. I would choose to stay on the strip at a 4 or 5 star hotel next trip. Parking is free at all hotels. An overnight stop out of town to give me the most time out in the Park. The complex is enormous, at least the parking lot is! Undercover parking easy to access. Room first rate, large, very well presented. Price very competitive for the area. Food options plentiful and good breakfast. When in Vegas I stay on the Strip, but I can't fault this Facility if you want an all inclusive resort and are happy to be out of town. And for Park visitors, well worth considering given its location. Highlight - quality of room at the price. When my husband and I got married last year, we stayed at the Red Rock and loved it. This year we took my mother and newborn son and it was very comfortable and enjoyable. Can't wait to go back again. I love the Red Rock Hotel! I've patronized the hotel since it open, so when I needed to get away for a couple of days, it was a no-brainer. Room was very big with a banging view of the strip. Bathroom was big big as well. Got a bang out of every single buck I spent for my stay. Staff were pleasant and check in was quick and the young lady who assisted was very sweet. Key access elevators to the rooms.
